New Layout!

I wanted to do a new layout for the Spring/Summer and I finally decided on this theme. I love oriental art and when I found this tube on mypsptubes.com, I decided I would use the koi pond. I still haven't decided if I want to add more fish to my pond but I did add the the Chinese writing at the bottom of the pond which means "tranquility". There has been so much upheaval in my life lately that this year I want to focus on creating some inner peace within myself. Last year (October 7, 2009 to be exact) was the day that Paul broke my heart. I still haven't recovered from it and I don't think I will any time soon. (sighs)

I think Al Green said it best...

I can think of younger days when living for my life
Was everything a man could want to do
I could never see tomorrow, but I was never told about the sorrow

And how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go round?
How can you mend a this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again

I can still feel the breeze that rustles through the trees
And misty memories of days gone by
We could never see tomorrow, no one said a word about the sorrow

And how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go round?
How can you mend this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again

I've never felt so much sadness in my life. How does someone get that deeply in your heart and when they walk out they literally rip a part of you right out your chest. How do you close that empty space? And how can it possibly not affect him or her at all or at least seem that way? Who do you turn to when that person was the only one you felt you could turn to?

Well, I realized that I could drown in my own sorrow and I need to find that peace of mind so here is my blog layout (maybe I will add to it, maybe not). For now the simplicity of it does it's purpose.
